Gia Garrett, MD
Originally from Lithonia, Georgia, Dr. Gia Garrett was born at Piedmont Hospital and attended the Westminster Schools in Atlanta. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University and completed medical school at The George Washington University. She was excited to return to Atlanta for OB/GYN residency at Emory University, where she received awards in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Medical Student Teaching. Her clinical interests include HIV prevention, robotic surgery, family planning, and working against racial and ethnic disparities in OB/GYN.
Dr. Garrett lives in Midtown with her two cats, Lena and Naya. In her free time, she enjoys riding her Peloton, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants.
