Joanne D. Sweeney, MD, FACOG

Originally from the Northeast, Dr. Joanne Sweeney has called Atlanta home for nearly a decade, bringing over 20 years of compassionate care to women. She earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University, followed by medical training at Tufts and residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Specializing in evidence-based obstetrics and gynecology, she has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery, fibroid management, menopause care, and sexual wellness. Previously with Kaiser Permanente Georgia, she now brings her expertise to our practice.

Beyond medicine, she's a devoted wife and mother of two girls. She enjoys yoga, fiction, theater and puzzles.
